TALES FROM ANOTHER STAR
Paint On It is a rock band with penchant for vocal harmonies, retrofuture synths, and psychedelic guitar explorations. We are Billy Bacci, Drew Barnocky, Mark Moran, Matt Moran, and Mara Smith. The band is heartfelt, homemade, curious, and cosmically entwined!
The band recorded their self-titled debut album at Go West Studio in Richmond Virginia, with Mitch Clem who engineered, mixed, and mastered the album. Tales From Another Star was also recorded with Mitch at Go West Studio, and was overdubbed by the band at Red Amp Audio. The third album Sunshine Trash was recorded at Matt’s house, produced and mixed by the band.
Billy sings lead and switches between keyboards and guitar. Drew plays drums and (rarely) indulges in lengthy drum solos. Mark plays bass guitar, holding it down. Matt plays cool guitars, sings often, and brings the heat, so to speak. Mara joined in 2021, adding keyboards, percussion, vocals, and serious music theory skills!
